Term 4- Week 4

Week 4 is here!

Thank you for all for attending the Student Led Conferences last Wednesday.  The boys seemed to enjoy sharing their learning journey.  I hope you learnt something new about your son and perhaps yourself. 

We have a special event tomorrow with BTN (Behind the News- ABC) coming to film a special report on Team Triton.  We’ll be sure notify you all when it's televised, so you can tune in and have a look.    

Well done to all those Year 6s who walked all night to support the Cancer Council on the weekend.  Despite being tired today, it seems they all enjoyed the experience whilst raising awareness for a worthy cause.

The Year 5 leadership speeches are this week, with house speeches on Thursday and school speeches on Friday.  The speeches are to be one minute and appeal to the Years 4-6.  I have offered to read any speeches beforehand, if any nominees would like some feedback.      

Also don’t forget about the Parent Seminar: - Promoting Effective Interaction Skills in a Changing Environment to be held on Wednesday 16 November, 6.30pm in the Piper Pavilion.

Also, Gathering on the Green is on Friday the 25^th of November, so book it in now as I presume your diaries are filling up fast!
