The boys have really enjoyed PACBOTs so far this week, with the
Year 5s joining us for our final 5m race.
After a slow start, except for one, we decided to watch a video on gear
ratios which significantly improved our times.
The winning time was 3.94 seconds, followed by a pace setting earlier
time of 5.04.
We had a false alarm today
due to a maintenance man tripping the switch and causing an impromptu lock
down.
The Year 5s had a talk about leadership positions next year and should be
considering if they would like to apply.
A few boys are entering the Subs in Schools program and are
looking to raise money to help them build and present a ROV at the
competition. They are conducting a
raffle, so if you could please support them with this as they have worked hard
and are keen to do well.
