We have a busy week! We have our Year 5 Leadership Day with Seymour on Friday (please refer to the note sent home), poetry recital finals on Tuesday and Wednesday, the school Treasure Island performance on Wednesday and the Lodge Short Talk on Thursday for those involved.
The Year 5s have been discussing ideas about Artspaces and
potential opportunities around photography and illusions. The Year 5s would have selected a book for
review and hopefully have sourced a copy to start reading.
The Year 6s are well into the exhibition process and have
discovered a variety of strategies to help them find information from a range
of sources. They should be busy asking questions and searching
for information relevant to their lines of Inquiry.
Next week is Book Week and I have asked the boys to dress up
for the parade on Friday. We discussed
that they could come as their favourite book character, but the detail has to
be specific to their character.
You should have
received a note regarding Whooping Cough and can you please remind the boys
bring in their school uniforms on Mondays.
