Tuesday Wk1 T2

Hi and welcome back. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays.

Today we

• had a welcome assembly
• looked at creating tree diagrams as a problem solving strategy in Maths
• Year 6 boys typed up cube reports in Technology
• Year 5 boys started a flic flac investigation as part of their inquiry unit and worked with the year 5 boys from Mrs Foster's class
• went through the new homework contract for this term
• used socratic questioning to explore recent current events
• had band / prep arts

There is a letter to parents in the homework books explaining the homework contract. Please read and sign to let me know you are aware of what is happening with homework this term.
Four notices went home today: Canteen Price List, Family Ski Trip and two notices about the Prep School Centenary Picnic Day.
A reminder that winter sport begins this Friday. Sports and schedules will be given as soon as we have more information. Don't forget our excursion Thursday. Thank you for the offers for help on this day but we are okay for supervision.
