Hi all,
The boys would like to have a class celebration (with FOOD
of course) on Thursday 8th December.
I know that it is a very busy time with all sorts of
celebrations so please, keep it simple!
If the boys in Taylor and Cotton could bring something
savoury and the boys in Waterhouse and Watsford bring something sweet. Should
yours come in a Tupperware container or the like, please put your name on it.
Surprisingly, the boys sometimes don’t recognise their own family property!
I will supply drinks. If anything needs cutting, I ask that
this is done at home. Heating food is problematical at the moment thanks to
stringent, strangling OHS regulations…..
I’ve had communications from Mat T who is progressing well
after a couple of complications with his surgery. But all is well and the
future looks bright! He’s up and about though moving slowly. I’m not sure if
he’ll be able to drop in this week as he had planned. If you have cards or end
of the year gifts for Mat, you can leave them with me and I will deliver them
next weekend.
This coming week, Eric McCauley, Mason Ross, Jake Hamood and
Griffin Bierlein will present their ROV Remotely Operated Vehicle at the
National Final of the Subs in Schools challenge to be held in PAC’s RED Centre.
They are up against secondary students from all over Australia but what a
learning challenge it has been and will be, as they and others demonstrate
their ROV’s capabilities. There are many facets to this competition, marketing,
design, construction etc.
You are very welcome to attend on Tuesday 6th Dec
between 9.00am and 4.30pm or Wednesday 9.00am to 12.00 noon. I’m sure that the
boys would love the encouragement! To see what they are doing, just follow this

Cheers,
Andre
