Sorry I haven't kept this up to date this week. It is Friday already and the term is just flying by.
The boys did a fantastic job with their assembly this week and were very proud of their efforts and independence.
There was no homework set this week as it is a short week but boys still had things they could go on with. Winter sport nomination forms need to be returned asap. We also need Easter raffle books returned and if you are interested on being on the class contact list please return these forms as well.
The next inquiry is due Monday 23rd March (Week 9).
Year 5 boys are doing an advertising unit with the Central Idea: 'Advertisements are created to persuade/inform',
and the Year 6 boys are looking at systems with the Central Idea: ' Systems are made up of parts which when connected, function as a whole'.
Their inquiry needs to demonstrate their understanding of their Central Idea, their learning around this and can be presented in a format of their own choosing. The boys have been given the marking rubric which can be accessed from the link in the right hand side bar.
