I apologise for the lateness of the Clipsal information but details and times were only locked in late yesterday afternoon. A note was sent home with the boys today and needs to be back Thursday at the latest. This is the information in the note:
As
part of their STEM unit (Science, Technology, Engineering
and Maths), the boys will be looking
at ‘How Cars are modified for Clipsal 500’.
This will involve us attending Clipsal 500 on Thursday 28th February.
We will leave school at 10:30am for our visit to the Erebus Motorsport pit then on to meet with John Silverblade trackside and return at approximately 1:00pm. Mr. Roller will be accompanying us on the day.
Travel arrangements will be by foot. Consistent
with school policy, your son will need to wear his School uniform for this
excursion. Please note that he will also need to bring his Sports uniform to
change into for Sports Practice in the afternoon.
Please return the response slip by Thursday 28th February.
This excursion is specifically for getting information for their next inquiry unit and so there will be no need to bring along money as the boys will not have time to visit food, drink or souvenir stalls.
They will need to make sure they have their own water bottles and hats on the day.
Sue
