Another terrfic day in the Year 5/6 classroom.
The year 5s finished their NAPLAN Assessment committment with the numeracy test which ended with some quite hard questions.
The boys spent some time on their inquiry, had a PE lesson which involved some Cross Country in the laed up to next weeks School X Country on the Thursday and finished the day with Sport. Added to this, we had a good fitness session between recess and lunch where we did some games which increased the heart rates and some games where we helped our flexibility.
Ask the boys about their day and find out which part they enjoyed the most.
They have a question about Decimal Currency for homework.
I was very impressed with their answers to the Problem of the Week. they obviously all put some time into what was not an easy question. They came up with reasons for their answer and had some good backup written material.
I very much enjoyed Day!
